Going through Mahango game reserve to border we had a lovely sighting of a pair of tumbling fish eagles - too quick for photographer. Kudu, ellie and impala. The others saw buffalo but we missed that.
Stopped at Shakawe en route to buy some provisions. Luis ended up with a loaf of bread and, as it was his turn at the till, the power went down. End of transaction and no bread!
Local wildlife
Had the usual hour long on site debate about where everyone would park.
Left for boat cruise at 4pm predominantly for fishing. Obtained bait fish from local fish market.
Just drifted down the river - quite fast flowing, while the guys dragged/drifted their fillets.

Johan had a knock but fish didn't take the bait. Next thing, Anthony was on - 3kg - very happy.

Pair of wood owl taking out insects in our camp - could (and did) watch them for hours. Didn't take any more shots as flash does worry them.
