Toilet did not work at Hippo Pools - as you went in the front, everything poured out the back! Lots of black corn crickety type things plus roman "spiders" lurking in the shadows. Beautiful setting made up for all of above.

Stopped at Ruacana Falls.













Gravel road most of the way.
Stopped at Opuwo to get ice. Pleasant looking Himba ladies became a total nuisance. Loads of them persistently asking for money for their babies.
Brutus turned 100 000 somewhere between Opuwo and Epupa.






Met a very pleasant Himba man ... Had a huge laughing conversation as he spoke his language and I spoke mine and neither of us understood the other.

We arrived at Epupa Falls and waited for the others ... And waited .... And waited. Went looking only to discover Gayle had had 2 flat tyres. Johan, fortunately travelling behind them, to the rescue. One spare change and one repair job later, they got rolling.
