Set up camp and all partook of Gayle's brownies. Much giggling and forgotten stories later ....
Walked down to "lodge" for a couple of drinks and supper - kudu goulash, rice, carrots and green beans followed by caramel sponge pudding. Nice! 2 owls in well lit area - wood owl and smaller marsh owl, I think. Hopefully, they'll be back tomorrow night and I can get a decent photo for id purposes ... Watch this space.
On our walk back, the local dog, an old boy, guided us through the dark to our campsite. Spent the night on our camp. He feasted on left over braai meat - sirloin steak. He's not partial to tea, though.
