Okaukoejo, Etosha 30/9/11 (Day 26)

On the trip across Caprivi, I mentioned Rhodesian Teak and Baobab....they weren't! The strange Baobab turn out to be Phantom Trees (Moringa) - still have to identify the Rhodesian Teak!
Another awesome night at the waterhole. A herd of 20+ elephant came to visit.

Hare was dodging elephant feet but he hung around:

First sighting today may well be yesterday's 4 hyena. The one doing all the screaming and shouting appears fine

Our first daylight sighting of a black rhino (yup, he's black!)

These hartebees were drinking from a mud pool next to the road. There is
no evidence of recent rain, the staff confirmed that they have not had rain down this side for "ages", yet this pool prevails

Hordes (not herds) of Zebra coming to quench their thirst.

Double-Banded Courser

Pale Chanting lift off

Galloping Wildie

Luis' successful experiment with depth of field at Okaukoejo's waterhole
